Challenge Aspen
Challenge Aspen

Challenge Aspen and Ready for the World work together closely to make outdoor recreation accessible to our students. As a part of the Roaring Fork Schools Post-Secondary Transition programming, students participate in downhill and nordic skiing, archery, hiking, biking, and more.

Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
DVR

We partner with DVR to provide students with career exploration, work place readiness, job coaching skills, and personal adjustment training.

Commonground Consulting
Commonground Consulting

Commonground Consulting assists Ready for the World students in and out of the classroom to provide job coaching and work place readiness skills. This organization offers educational and vocational consulting so individuals can build independence, find meaningful work, and thrive beyond school.

Mountain Valley Developmental Services
Mountain Valley Developmental Services

Mountain Valley Developmental Services partners with Ready for the World to provide students with opportunities to explore adult based support services such as work based learning in their greenhouse, the adult day program, and the community connections program.

Mountain Valley has a wealth of services they can offer the disability community including supporting adults with disabilities in independent and supported living situations.

AZYEP / KDNK Radio
AZYEP

At KDNK studios, Ready for the World students create and broadcast a live, on-air radio show once a month on Wednesdays at 2:00 PM through the Andy Zenca Youth Empowerment Program (AZYEP.) Students work the sound board, curate playlists while exploring different types of music media, and have on-air discussions.

Glenwood Springs Therapeutic Recreation
Glenwood Rec Center

Housed at the Glenwood Rec Center, the Therapeutic Recreation Program serves the Ready for the World Students with progressive adaptive climbing and swimming lessons. The Therapeutic Rec program hosts several events and activities for individuals with disabilities through out the calendar year.

Ascendigo
Ascendigo

Based out of Carbondale, Ascendigo offers daily living support services, job coaching, and recreational & social spectrum programs to help integrate people with autism into community life. Ready for the World collaborates with Ascenedigo through job coaching services and connecting families to their adult support programs.

The Arc of the Central Mountains
The Arc of the Central Mountains

Ready for the World connects families and students with The Arc of the Central Mountains for a variety of support and advocacy services.

The Arc of the Central Mountains provide advocacy and support services to individuals with disabilities so that they can become valued, contributing members of their communities and achieve their dreams.

Garfield County Case Management Agency
Gar Co

Ready for the World works closely with Garfield County Case Management Services to ensure a smooth transition between the school system and the adult services system.

Windwalkers
Windwalkers  Equine Therapy

Windwalkers provides Ready for the World students with equine-assisted activities designed to enhance the cognitive, physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with special needs.

Cooking Matters
Cooking Matters

In conjunction with Garfield County, once a month Cooking Matters provides Ready for the World participants with resources, cooking lessons, and nutrition lessons to develop their skills when shopping for and cooking healthy foods on a budget.
